Panda Malware Radar

Automated malware audit for corporate networks

Detects and cleans PC’s and servers from threats missed by traditional security software. Informs about threats and indicates location on PC or server. Be one step ahead and save time and effort to control threats on the network. Automated malware audit for corporate networks. Maximized malware detection rate compared to traditional security software. Compatible with installed protections to complement them. Malware Radar checks protection status and possible vulnerabilities. Offers detailed reports and ability to automatically clean malicious software found on system.

Maximized malware detection rate compared to traditional security software

Malware Radar detects more malware compared to traditional security software because modern and very sensitive heuristic detection and analysis methods are used. Those technologies are based on Collective Intelligence approach. All inputs from users sent to PandaLabs are automatically or semi automatically analyzed and respons to the customer sent indicating the nature of potential hazard. Thus detection ability is dramatically increased if compared with traditional anti-malware solutions.

No installation

To use Malware Radar you do not need to install any resident software or additional hardware. So it won’t conflict with any existing protection solution.

Detailed and accurate reports

Malware Radar generates complete audit reports containing detailed and accurate information about:

•Active threats. All the malware that is running in your network and damaging your company

•System vulnerabilities related to malware. System vulnerabilities in your network that known malware can exploit to penetrate your company

•Inactive or latent threats: Malware that is not running when the audit is performed, but is installed on your network and could have been active in the past or could even activate in the future

•Problems in the protection on the computers in your network: Possible operational problems, such as protection that is not installed or enabled in some network computers or outdated signature files

This information is displayed in two reports (available online or in PDF or XML format):

•Executive report: Includes the main results, statistics and recommendations, depending on the situation detected in your network

•Technical report: Includes the details of each computer scanned. This report contains different filter options to allow you to display the audit results as you want or to focus on critical computers

Analysis of the IT infrastructure

With Malware Radar it is possible to scan all IT infrastructure including workstations, servers, mobile systems and even systems disconnected form the network. To perform scan any standard method (such as Tivoli, SMS, Active Directory, etc.) is to be used. Malware Radar offers the tool to easy select systems to scan as well as do it automatically.

Fast system status check and information about IT infrastructure

Automatic scanning process is done in scheduled times on all systems on the network. Report data ate available online in real time. You can follow the scanning process including information on malware found, vulnerability and protection status, and information about systems not scanned yet.

Detects critical vulnerabilities used by malware

Malware Radar detects critical vulnerabilities used by malware to break into the system. As a detailed report is available information about vulnerabilities detected and possible solutions to eliminate the risk of infection.

Finds known and unknown threats, active and passive ones usually slipping by traditional protection systems

Malware Radar can detect malware in IT infrastructure. It detects known and unknown threats better than exiting security solution. Threat may be active or latent (exiting but not active). This kind of threats may slip by existing security solution because they are simply unknown or hidden (by suing administrative tools or Rootkits) and there may be no security solution on the system at all or it is not updated.

No installation

To use Malware Radar you do not need to install any resident software. When scanning is done it deletes itself from the system.

Detection of critical and targeted threats

Malware Radar will detect most dangerous types of malware like targeted ones affecting certain type of system or particular organisation. These threats are deigned to get sensitive information including bank account details so owner of the malicious software can benefit. It leads to loses and impacts the trust of the customers. Those kinds of attacks are not massive but are designed to hit specific targets. To deploy such an attack any kind of malware can be used: trojans, bots, spyware etc. In most cases targeted attacks are used for third party as a service provided by author of the program. Standard security solutions usually won’t stop targeted attack as it is designed to stop commonly known malware.

Deletes malware detected

Malware Radar can automatically clean system form malware detected. Administrator may download “cleaning” agent and distribute it to the workstations and servers on the network using standard distribution ways. There is distribution tool provided by Malware Radar as well. When cleaning is done technical report is made including information about every system affected.

Checks protection status

Malware Radar checks system protection status including installations packages and software upgrades (antivirus, anti-spyware, personal firewall and HIPS). It also monitors surveillance technologies based on behaviour analyses.
